Beautiful hand embroidered Ox-Eye Daisies and Cornflowers have been used to decorate this dark pink handmade cushion.
We saw these ox-eye daisies and cornflowers together in a meadow on the Surrey Downs and thought that the combination of white and blue would make a bright contrast with the pink fabric we had dyed. The daisies have been made by quilting the basic shape and then appliqued onto the cushion with finishing touches of hand embroidered French knots. The cornflowers and leaves have been created using applique and then hand embroidery with couching and chain stitches.
100% Cotton fabric. Hand dyed fabric produces attractive variations in shading.
Hand made green button fastening on the back.
The cushion measures 40 x 40cm. This listing is for the COVER ONLY.
