Set of 3, golden flying swallows to brighten any boring bedroom wall.

Each swallow is delicately handmade by the artist, re-using everyday materials such as newspaper and card. No armature is used within and the form is carefully crafted by compacting and sculpting the newspaper from scratch. The pieces are finished by meticulously applying tiny cut pieces of gold paper, floral and patterned imagery using the decoupage technique.
The birds are finished with a satin varnish seal.

Each bird has a secure gold loop fixture at the back so can be easilly fixed onto a picture nail in the wall.

The flying swallows are a one off, original piece and are ready to be shipped straight away. They will arrive in a gift box - a perfect present.
