I love this designer - Etsuko Furuya - she has the most amazing eye for what works and puts colours together so boldly. I also love the feel of this fabric as it's slightly heavier than normal quilting cotton. And I love my iPad and know if you're reading this, you probably love yours too... what more can I say...?

Handmade, cotton lined, padded sleeve to keep your iPad safe and looking gorgeous... I don't have a lot of this fabric (it's very expensive) so this is not only a steal of a price but there will only be a few of these babies made...
The outer fabric is heavyweight linen, by the Japanese designer Etsuko Furuya for the Echino range. It's printed in bold colours and has a feel slightly rougher than your normal 'dress' cotton - lovely for spring and summer.
The fabric comes in panels so it's got the main picture (the birdy) on the front and on the back there are two matching colour blocks that form the back pocket - because even with an iPad we've still got bits of paper we need to hand haven't we... you could also fit a notebook/purse/phone/kindle in the back pocket if you wanted.
The sleeve is lined with contrasting cotton and it closes with lovely Navy blue elastic and a vintage button. Padded with a layer of wadding in between the two, and top-stitched around the opening to make it sturdy.
As ever it's made entirely by me from scratch...
