Full description

In light of the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver (my native homeland), I've decided to list a toque (pronounced "tuke"). It's slightly longer than an average beanie, it covers the ears, and it'll get you through a Canadian winter.

This is not just your average toque though. This toque has been knit with the owl design wrapping around. Accented with translucent blue glass beads, each owl's pair of eyes dazzle under the light. After knitting the first owl toque, I found myself instantly knitting a second one.

The yarn used is 100% wool that was manufactured and distributed in England.

The hat will fit any adult head comfortably. It is slightly loose on the small female mannequin head, but as you can see in the photos it comes down quite far so it still hugs the head. You can wear it down like a cloche (photo 1) or rolled up in the front like in photo 3. It will also stretch (without looking wonky) for all you people out there with big noggins.
