Burgundy Wine, Hand knitted, crocheted & Full lined handbag, with a crocheted shoulder strap & short flap over top.
This is a handmade handbag, with 100% Acrylic yarn, has been both knitted and crocheted. The main body of the handbag has been knitted with a carried loop design, gradually moving diagonally along the handbag, quite a time consuming design to knit; then crocheted together, integrally with the handle to ensure strength & durability of the strap, giving a very textured look.
This style makes the handbag gather in slightly, so there is room for expansion, therefore I have made the lining over large, to allow for the expansion of the outer knitted part of the handbag.
The handbag has been fully lined with bright shocking pink satin style material to make this handbag more useable and durable.
This is a unique handmade item, fully hand knitted, crocheted & hand stitched by myself, to my own unique design, as mentioned above, the handle strap is integral to the bag and not stitched on afterwards.
This handbag can be hand or machine washed at 40'C, but I would suggest drying flat to retain its shape.
The body of the handbag is roughly square in shape, measuring approx 22cms in height, excluding the handle and approx 25cms in width, at the widest point, near the top of the handbag and 22cms at the base of the handbag, when the yarn is in its relaxed state.
