This bag is huge! I think I made a mistake with the measurements when I was cutting the fabric out, because I never intended to make such a gigantic bag!
The bag is made from navy blue denim fabric. The quilted patchwork flap has been made using fabric from Amy Butler’s Love collection – bold prints celebrating print and colour. The lining is a heavy-weight gingham fabric.
“Miranda comes from the Latin word meaning ‘worthy of admiration’ or ‘wonderful’. It seemed appropriate for this colossal bag.
There is a large internal zipped pocket for keeping all those important items safe. Under the flap there are three small pockets for bits and bobs! The bag itself would be suitable for a student of any age, as it is roomy enough to carry a laptop, books, notepad and other paraphernalia. There is an internal magnetic clasp closure. There is also a Velcro closure under the flap.
The straps are long enough to hang across the shoulder, or even the body which would be useful if the bag is heavy with lots of items!
