I have made handmade bears for years, when I do a craft fair Children a drawn to my stall and I have always felt sad that my bears are not suitable for children to play with, so I decided to made a range of fun quirky dolls that are beautiful to look at but are also tactile and huggable by adults and children alike.
My mission is to make gourgous dolls out of recycled fabrics, all the heads and arms of my doll are made from hand dyed vintage wool blankets. The rest of the dolls are made from carefully selected fabrics I have collected over the years. :)

I would like to introduce you to Matilda, she is a bit of a tom boy and loves playing out side, she does not do dresses and much prefers to wear her pantaloons so as she can climb trees with ease.
Matilda is a beautiful rag doll, truly a lovely companion to sleep with and cuddle, designed and made by me Hannah Jones of Baildon bears.
Matilda is 37cm from head to toe, every doll is unique and not one will ever be the same.
Matilda is made from a vintage wool blanket, new and recycled fabrics, she is stuffed with polyester filling.
she is a floppy rag doll and is lovely to cuddle.
Each doll comes to you with a swing tag with the dolls name, date of birth and a signiture from the maker. Please contact me if you would like to name the doll your self. X
Because of sewn on buttons and felted balls, I do have to say these dolls are not suitable for children under 3 years.
I also like to make commission rag dolls, if you would like a unique rag doll made out of your childs old and treasured cloths all you have to do is contact me, send me a good selection of your childs cloths that you are happy to be cut up, and I will make you a doll to be treasured for ever.
