Full description
This is an original hand-painted piece using acrylics on a double gesso primed, 100% pure cotton, Boldmere 12x12 (305x305mm) stretched round canvas.
I love a good cup of tea, so I thought it was about time I made a canvas which involved one! I am not sure where the phrase Just my cup of tea comes from but I'm sure we've all said it at one point or another...even if it's taking the mick!
I also love typography and the style I have used on this canvas is the one I enjoy doing the most. I initially drew the letters and cup on the canvas (freehand) in pencil and then painted over the lines making some lines thicker than others.
