Following on from the success of my Mermaid mugs, I decided to make a few brooches based on my design using shrink plastic. I can't tell you how much fun it is to put a larger version of your design in the oven and watch it curl and shrink down, down, down!

This particular brooch measures approximately 73mm x 75mm and is finished with a light coating of varnish, and a 20mm brooch pin (with safety catch) securely glued to the underside. It comes mounted on a card and in a stripy paper bag, ready for giving, or just for treating yourself.

Please note, due to the nature and charm of the plastic used, there may be slight variations in the size and colour of each brooch.
