Little Mermaid Inkjet Print
Description
This sleepy underwater lady was originally hand lino-printed. Now she's been re-coloured in Illustrator and inkjet printed in blue onto a yellow spot ground, on midweight, off-white paper.
This is an unlimited series and due to the nature of the process each print will vary a little.
Print size is 15cm high x 10cm wide
Paper size is 25.5cm high x 20cm wide
All purchases are carefully packaged and shipped flat.
Inspiration
I was initally inspired to create the lino-cut when I moved to the seaside, but I felt quite tired by it all at the time too, so felt it only right that she would be sleeping.
This inkjet print is a progression from the original lino-cut, as by re-colouring it in Illustrator I've made the image more decorative and played with colours.
