I've been making things out of polymer clay for over 22 years. I love making bookmarks and think this is a particularly beautiful one! Would make a great stocking filler for a book or butterfly-lover!

A lovely bookmark to hold your place in a favourite book.
The butterfly is made from blue polymer clay and coated in blue Mica powder to give a beautiful shimmery effect. The back of the butterfly is plain blue. There is a small blue glass bead at the bottom. The butterfly measures roughly 4.2cm/just over 1.5 inches at its widest point. There are also two swirly blue/turquoise polymer clay beads with two small turquoise glass beads.
The butterfly and beads are attached to a silver-plated hook which is approximately 8.5cm long (just under 3.5 inches). This hooks over the spine of the book to hold your place, while the charms hangs on the outside.
PLEASE NOTE - the butterfly shown in the pictures above has sold, but the one you order will be very similar.
The bookmark comes in an attractive organza bag and is carefully packaged, before being posted 1st class (via airmail if outside the UK). I try to reuse envelopes whenever possible.
PLEASE NOTE that polymer clay is not a toy and I do not recommend this item for young children due to small parts. Although polymer clay is perfectly suitable for its intended use, it is not indestructible!
