The beautiful silvery, fancy yarn is so reminiscent of frost - this was the starting point for this design. I have kept it simple using a hand- woven technique and simple embroidery.

A wintry landscape, woven on a miniature scale and finished with hand embroidery - presented as a brooch - the second in this series.
A miniature landscape has been woven from a mixture of fancy yarns, and beautiful, soft, white merino yarn. Distant trees and hawthorn in the foreground have been embroidered in cottons. A pretty and atmospheric scene.
The back of the brooch is neatened with felt and a brooch pin is securely stitched in place.
Height - 6.5 cm approx.
