This bag is called Isis and is made from silk. I selected six different pieces of silk to create this patchwork bag. I chose very special silk, silk that had a pattern or embroidery on it for the main part of the bag. The handles and large bow are made from plain pink silk.
My aim in creating this bag was to produce something completely unique and something that would not only be beautiful, but also desirable. I wanted to tempt bag lovers! I was very pleased with the result. The bag has been interfaced with an ultra heavy weight interfacing to give it structure. This means that the bag is not soft to the touch like silk usually is, but it is stiff and durable, and holds its shape.
The internal facing is silk, the same colour as the large bow. The lining is a paisley quilted fabric. There is an internal pocket and a magnetic clasp closure. What a splendid bow to finish it off! I think the bag is very distinguished and I love it to bits. I hope whoever purchases it loves it as much as I do.

Bag: 28cm (11ins) wide at top, 37.5cm (15ins) wide at bottom. It is 30cm (12ins) deep.
Straps: 63cm (25ins) long x 1.5cm (1inch) wide
Internal pocket: 13cm (5ins) wide x 11.5cm (4.5ins) deep
Bow: 36.5 (14.5ins) wide
