I first made these about 10 years ago after seeing one like it in a fashion magazine, but being a college student I did not have the funds to afford it. Instead I went to the habadashery and picked up a few tap measures and got to work.
When I made my ribbon corsages to add a bit of interest to my plain black handbag I remembered my tape measure corsage and wanted to re-create it.
I wore my black and white tape measure corsage to work and had so many comments on it, it's a real talking point!
So when I came across coloured tape measures I had to get them! The results are here for you to see, and brighten up your day.

Full description
A pretty pink corsage - measurably different!
This is made from a real tape measure, albeit a pink one, topped with a pink pearl button. This can be attached to clothes, bags, even shoes with the classic brooch pin closure on the back. The main section of the corsage is roughly 2.5 inches in diameter and the tails are a further 2.5in long.
