Origami lotus lamp
Description
A hand folded origami lotus. The paper is taken from a book about fossil amphibians and reptiles from 1965. The petals are white-tipped, and have photographs of extinct animals, and the leaves have line drawings of fossilized bones.
The lotus is about 18cm / 7 inches across and stands about 11cm / 4 inches high.
It comes with a free battery-operated flickering tea light (batteries included!)
Inspiration
I love making things out of paper from old books, and after I learned how to fold an origami lotus flower, I thought it would make a pretty little lamp. I have them dotted all over my house, and when I have parties, I have them on every other step of the stairs.
I only ever cut up damaged books!
