Cthulhu Dreams
Description
Pendant inspired by horror author H.P. Lovecraft, who had created a mythos of monstrous beings that inhabited his stories; Cthulhu is one of the central beings and first appeared in Lovecraft’s short story, Call of Cthulhu in 1928.
This square resin pendant has the head of Cthulhu, set in the centre, surrounded by glass bead 'bubbles’; on the back of the pendant is a verse that is often mentioned in some of Lovecraft’s stories:
‘That which is not dead can eternal lie
’till with strange aeons even death must die’
The pendant is attached to a plaited black leather and blue waxed cord.
