A wooden oak pencil box.
I have made these pencil boxes by hand in my workshop. They are made from white oak and left with no varnish or coating for a natural feel. This means they will mark and look more rustic with age. I have tried to keep the ammount of metal to a minimum, the only metal being the small nails holding them together. The lid is held on by the friction of small pieces of oak as they squeeze in at the ends.
This could also be used as a small trinket box, for your jewellery and craft items.
