Full description
This is a handmade knitting bag, or handbag if you prefer, with 55% Nylon & 45% Acrylic baby blue & white yarns. It has been crocheted is floral squares, which have then been crocheted together to form the main body of the handbag, giving a square cross pattern.
The Handles have been fashioned from a long length of blue cotton lace style ribbon, which has been passed through the design of the handbag & securely sewn into place along the length of the ribbon in contact with the handbag.
At the front, the ribbon has been fashioned into a simple fixed bow.
The mouth of the handbag opens the full width of the purse & has three blue lucite buttons internally, with their opposing crocheted loops for closure & has been further fully lined with white 100% cotton, to make this handbag more useable & durable.
This is a unique handmade item, hand crocheted and hand stitched, to my own unique design.
Bow Peep can be hand or machine washed at 40C, but I would suggest drying flat to retain its shape.
It is roughly rectangular in shape, measuring approx 17cms in height, excluding the handle & approx 34cms in width.
This knitting bag was inspired by my daughter nursery rhyme book of little bow peep, but is still grown up enough to be used by any lady, young or old alike. I felt this bag would be perfect for keeping all your small yarn oddments safe, or ideal just for someone with a love of anything quirky and unique.
