This is my version of a 'Welsh rain cloud', in copper, sterling silver, kiln-fired enamels and fresh-water pearls.
The cloud itself measures 50mm x 25mm and I have used a number of transparent blue enamels with a dusting of grey, to give the stormy look.!
The down-pours are sterling silver fine rods and the raindrops are freshwater pearls.
It hangs beautifully on fine covered wire, clasps in sterling silver and is very dainty.
It's a bit of a 'show-stopper'!
