This lovely ceramic brooch is handmade using stoneware clay and fired in raku. It has a floral design impressed into the clay using a wooden printing block. This is inlaid with a blue crackle glaze next to a white crackle background. The brooch is unglazed on the reverse, which gives it a stone-grey, pebble-like quality.

This brooch is completely unique and a very tactile piece. It measures 4cm by 4.5cm and is fitted with a simple silver-look brooch clasp on the back. All raku pieces are one-of-a-kind.
