I had so much fun making the sample for these pictures!
I've used a recycled men's shirt and cut it up to make the outer layer of the corset, so the front panel of the corset is genuinely a shirt opening at the front to reveal the 'S'.
This corset can be made to order in size 8/10, 12/14 and 16/18. The picture is a sample only. Please allow 2-3 for receipt of finished item.
It is made with a layer of herringbone coutil that is covered with the recycled shirt. I use steel spirals for the bones.
As I got the recycled shirt at a charity shop, any future corset would be similar, but not identical depending on what shirts are available. Personally, I think a mostly white shirt works best, but that could be a matter of preference for you to decide.
The front panel with the 'S' is made from polyester satin. The 'S' is constructed separately and then appliqued to the front using bondaweb.
