I had the very good fortune to receive some beautiful vintage costume jewellery from Aunty Joan a fellow folkster http://www.folksy.com /shops/Auntyjoan who wanted to see her late Aunt's costume jewellery given a new lease of life.
This particular trinket is made from one of Aunty Joans Brooches. I removed the brooch fittings and fashioned a bail from the brooch post to create a pendant.
Then I designed a chain from semi precious black onyx, glass pearls and gold plated chain to complement the pendant creating a classic and elegant necklace.
Necklace length 20 inches, pendant hangs 2 inches from chain. Gold pated toggle closure.
I only ever make one of each design/colour, so you can be sure of owning a truly unique item.
Posted, protected and boxed 1st Class Royal Mail. Presented in an organza gift bag.
