Full description
This blue handmade art collage is a lovely piece of wall decor. Inspired by the ocean, nautical cobalt and navy catches the eye. Made from recycled paper materials, vintage upcycled postage stamps and carefully selected book pages it combines to form a contemporary and abstract original piece.
The base layer of this art collage is a heavy high-quality paper onto which three triangular sails constructed from beautiful old book-pages have been placed the upper layers are mixed media printed and sourced blue images and stamps.
All media used are paper-based and re-cycled or upcycled so that this is environmentally friendly as well as being almost completely flat and so suited to most mountings and frames. The final piece measures 22.6" x 15.6".
Every piece of art that I create is an original not a print and all of the artwork is made by my own two hands in my little studio in the UK.
