Full description
Full steam ahead!
This overbust, Steampunk style, full steel boned corset with handpainted and rubber image transfered panels is totally handmade and unique. Its a size 6/8 (UK) which fits up to a bra B cup (32 inch bust), 26 inch natural waist and 32 inch hips. It consists of 2 layers, one canvas, one cotton coutil, has flat and spiral steel bones throughout, with a front steel busk, laced back and a modesty panel, as well as elastic to give that extra bit of pull in at the waist.
An excellent day wear corset, comfortable and versatile, dress it up for parties, or down with jeans for everyday use.
The panels have three different designs: cogs, pocket watches and handwritten letters.
Suitable for tightlacing
(skirt sold separately)
As this is a very specialised corset, there is only one of it, but i'm happy to try to replicate but no two are ever identical. If you like bits of it and want one made to order I'm happy to do that, contact me either on Folksy or by my email. I am happy to make plain and sophisticated corsets, as well as bold and patterned, and if you are a regular corset wearer and want a certain arrangement of steel bones, I'm happy to do that too.

Corset Care Guide
All Xandriana corsets are made to the highest quality and are suitable for tightlacing (unless otherwise stated). I use steel spiral bones for the curvy bits and straight tipped steel bones for sturdiness and strength. I also use strong steel busk fasteners on most of my corsets.
DO NOT put your corset in the washing machine! This could damage it and rust the internal boning. Your corset cannot be dry cleaned. Hand sponge areas clean is best but be careful as some fabrics can watermark. Don't spray your corset with fabric freshener as this can rot the fabric. Hang your corset by the laces to dry. Deodrant may leave yellow/white marks on the corset, so either use an invisible one or none at all.
All new corsets need a certain amount of breaking in. Over-tightening your new corset will cause damage to it. This can be avoided by wearing your new corset often and for short periods of time, gradually pulling the laces tighter as the fabric warms and moulds to your body shape. All of my corsets are made to withstand normal wearing conditions, but I'm not responsible for how individuals treat their garments.
