Full description
A funky and versitile hat, making use of old 7" records. They can be made with what ever colour scheme you require, using a wealth of materials.
In previous commissions I have used tubing, pie tins, circuit boards, cables, vintage ostrich feathers, paper, material, handmade fabric roses, vintage brooches/jewellery, artificial birds and butterflies.....the possibilities are endless. Nothing is wasted and usually ends up on a record hat, looking stunning!
I carefully and thoughfully build up the space between the record and the handmade base, which can be large or small, creating a stunning and unusual hat.
The front of the record can also be decorated using material or glitter.
The record hats can be worn in various ways, just experiment and see what you like the best!
Attatched with a beak clip and hat elastic for comfort and versatility.
Perfect for weddings, parties, festivals or just to make heads turn.
