These quilts have been made with cotton outer layers and a polyester wadding ensuring that they are light but durable. Designed to fit a baby’s cot and also a first bed they are long-lasting and make a beautiful decorative finish on the beds of older children. Alternatively they can be used out and about as a cover for a sleepy baby, a play-mat or a useful handy blanket for those long car journeys. A lovely addition to any family home.

This quilt has been made in four colourways, the main one being a cute winter scene featuring a bear, rabbit and dog – please see photo enlargement. I have also used this fabric for the French binding that has been hand sewn to the front for a professional finish. The backing is in the black and white striped fabric and I have used this for the lettering on the front. The other colours that have been used are a purple polka dot and a grey and they all blend in very well together. There are only a very limited number of these quilts available. The top has already been made up so I can despatch within 3 working days and probably even quicker.

Please contact me with the name to be sewn on the front. Alternatively you may chose to have this quilt with no name on – again contact me and let me know and I can refund you £2.00 for this. The name has been raw edge appliquéd on using a contrasting red thread which I think works very well – let me know if you would prefer me to use a blue or black.

Care Instructions: Cool machine wash with low tumble dry cycle until almost dry. Shake out and use or cool iron. The quilt has been washed once to start the quilting process.
