COLLECTION FROM DERBY ONLY, due to weight / size.
"Adirondack" style chair, re-cycled pine pallet wood / etc. The seat is made from discarded bed slats - smooth, rounded profile slats. NOT stained, or varnished (left for your taste!).
Will need sealing before being left outside for any length of time. Tested, and suitable for an adult approximately 5' 9" (5 feet 9 inches) tall, due to seat height, leg length and average body build - although suitable for anywhere from 5' upwards. Width between arms - approximately 20 1/4".
All surfaces that are in contact with the "sittee" have been smoothed / planed, other surfaces (i.e. the reverse of the back) have been left "as is", to emphasise the reclaimed character of the chair. The arms on this chair have been quarter round edged as compared to being left square (see my other chair for the difference).
This chair pattern was taken from a book, and adjusted for a slightly taller adult (me!) - ask, and I can make different ones and put them on Folksy. It can be "flat-packed" (the back can be removed and refitted easily - full instructions given).
This was made, by me, at home in the garage / on the patio (I have a LOT of wood in storage...), and tested a few times since :-) I use old hand tools, and a few power tools to finish.
These chairs can be made to order - sizes etc can be taken to tailor fit them!
