I wanted to restyle the traditional terracotta pot and add my own mark to it without taking away its function and practicality. I have maintained, form and depth of colour but it is still what it is.

Full description
These rustic plant pots have been hand formed from terracotta clay, the surface of the pots have been textured and distressed prior to firing to give them an old traditional feel. I wanted them to look as though they had been weathered through time and usage.
On the front of each pot is a garden bird motif stamped into the clay. The colour of this clay is very rich and it fires a lovely deep red making these pots an attractive alternative to the functional terracotta pot.
Measures approx 11cm (top rim)15cm (top to base)
Drainage hole at base of pot and high fired for year round usage.
