Full description
Crisp, white flowers of a bramble and white campion contrast with the felted, hedgerow background of this embroidered brooch.
Naturally died silk and mohair fibres are combined with merino wool, in the felt which forms the background to this brooch. The flowers are embroidered in various cottons. The brooch is stiffened with plastic cut from a recycled bottle. Pure green, loosely spun wool is bound round the edge of the brooch to frame the design.
The back of the brooch is neatened with felt and a brooch pin is securely stitched in place.
