Full description
A little clump of sweet, wild strawberries are hand-embroidered onto this brooch.
The background is a soft green fabric, which has been heavily embellished with several layers of embroidered leaves to give depth to the design. The strawberry flowers are embroidered in silk ribbon, and embroidery threads. The tiny strawberries are clusters of French knots.
Couched yarns in two shades of green, twisted together, frame the design. The brooch is reinforced by plastic cut from a recycled bottle, The back of the brooch is neatened with felt and a brooch pin is securely stitched in place.
