Full description
'Lavender Cottage' is a needle felted landscape on a background of hand felted merino fibres with lovely white silk clouds.
The cottage and sheep are needle felted by hand with a little bit of stitch for added detail.
The drystone wall in the foreground is also needle felted by hand using hand dyed fleece fibres from the Orkney Island of North Ronaldsay and wool from sheep bred on the Isle of Skye.
This needle felted art work is inspired by the remote areas of Scotland and Ireland where little cottages stand alone with only a few sheep for company.
All my work is made by hand with love and care in my own cottage in rural Fife.
The piece comes ready mounted and framed as shown. Piece measures 12x16.5cm. Frame measures 20.5x26.5cm and can be free standing or hung on the wall.
For posting this piece will wrapped in bubble wrap and packaged well in stiff card board packaging.
