A sumptious cushion made from upcycled blue cotton velvet of the quality only vintage velvet seems to provide!
The cushion measures a generous 18" square and comes complete with feather filled inner pad. In addition to the pad the cushion is fully lined in an off white 100% cotton fabric. It is fastened as shown in the pictures with two wide satin fuchsia ribbons which I have tied as giant fun bows!
The squirrel is handcut from my own template, as is the little acorn he is making away with! The hand appliquéd squirrel is made from hot-pink eco felt and his eye is french knot embroidery thread. The acorn is made from contrasting felt and cotton fabric.
