Full description
A length of patchwork, in shades of cream and rust, has been used to create the front panel and flap of this roomy and practical bag.
Carefully chosen, coordinating furnishing fabrics, have been chosen for the patchwork forming the front of this bag. The patchwork has been embellished with ribbons in shades of cream, brown and metallic gold. The patchwork front of the bag, the flap, and the back panel have been quilted using a firm, felt-type wadding, to give strength to the bag. The wide, upper, parts of the carrying straps, have been padded with the same wadding to provide comfort. The side panels, base and back of the bag are cut from a suede- effect furnishing fabric, with a woven backing and flocked finish, in cream.
The top of the bag is drawn to a closure, under the front flap, with a sliding toggle over a length of bright red cord. The flap fastens with a quick-release buckle, attached to the base of the bag by an adjustable strap. The lower part of the carrying straps are adjustable by means of sliding buckles. A carrying handle is stitched above the flap.
The back is fully lined in paisley patterned fabric in a bronze colour. A D-ring is stitched into the seam to provide an achoring point for your keyring and, possibly, a purse.
