Full description

I have had some of my photographs turned into postcards by MOO.

The quality is exceptional - they are mini works of art in themselves. MOO says of the paper stock:

This is a thick 350gsm, sustainably sourced paper stock, with a glossy laminate finish one one side. The other side is lightly coated with a faint satin finish, making it easier to write your own message. The paper stock for these Postcards is acid and lignin free.

Dimensions are 105mm x 148mm (4.13" x 5.82").

Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument located in the English county of Wiltshire, about 3.2 kilometres (2.0 mi) west of Amesbury and 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) north of Salisbury.

New Year's Day, 2006 dawned bright and clear. I was 5 months pregnant with my youngest son, it was a Sunday, so my husband was home; the school holidays were nearly at an end. In short, we were bored, and wanted something to do, knowing it wouldn't be too long until I was too big to enjoy myself, and then the baby would arrive. Long-standing members of English Heritage and The National Trust, we discovered that Stonehenge was open - on New Years Day! We couldn't believe our luck, and so we decided to take a chance, and drive out there. At just over 2 hours away from our home, we figured it was worth the effort - and it most certainly was!

Armed as usual with my trusty camera, we had a gorgeous day at Stonehenge, also taking in the (not so exciting) Woodhenge nearby.

When purchased, this print will be posted in a card-backed envelope, for added protection.
