How about something a little different from me?
Well here it is...hand spun yarn.
I spun these comcercially dyed and combed tops on my little Haldane Hebridean wheel.
Then I plied it with a metallic silver embroidery thread, threaded with silver size 8 seed beads - lots of tangles and expletives ensued, I can tell you!!
This is hand spun yarn and I've not even tried to keep the same size thoroughout, so you'll get thick and thin (ish) bits - it's the way I like it and I hope you do too. I can buy yarn with a standard thickness in the shops, but I like the rustic homemade feel of this yarn.
Fibre: Marino from tops
Dye: N/A
Colours: Black, Black/White blend and White
Wpi: 8 on average, making it a heavy aron/light chunky
Weight: c. 75g
Length: c. 113m
