Enamelled Copper Disc Earrings
Handmade torch enamelled copper earrings A double delight in purple! Two handcut concave copper discs torch enamelled with several layers of vitreous enamelThe larger discs measure 17mm and are enamelled in a delightful lavender which provides a striking contrast to the smaller discs which are enamelled in foxglove purple (my favourite colour!) The discs are teamed with handmade and oxidised ball-end sterling silver earwires The backs of the discs are also enamelled in a smoky blackSuper shiny and definitely eye-catching! Lightweight and easy to wear
Torch enamelling involves sifting enamel powder onto metal and heating from beneath with a torch until the enamel powder fuses to the metalVarious effects can be achieved and it is very addictive!
