Full description
Handspun in pure wensleydale fibre, a long staple wool that gives it a lovely lustre and a good drape because of its inherent weight. These hanks are pre hand dyed in pastel colours with a hint of wheat.
Technical bits : each hank is 50g and spun as a singles yarn ie. it is not plied, each is approx. 175m in length. I try to achieve an average of 25 wpi along its length so it is similar to a fingering weight yarn. Intended mainly for use in fine crochet work.
Each hank is posted with its own tag, carefully wrapped in tissue paper and with suggested care instructions enclosed.
