This serene old owl has been lovingly made from an upcycled Icelandic handknit pure wool sweater that has been felted (fulled) and stitched into a wise old guardian of the woodland.
My little boy loves owls and I was inspired to make a series of Owl Scouts after coming across some beautiful vintage scout badges at a car boot sale.
He is approximately 10 inches (25cm) tall and is very cuddly indeed. He has a sleepy, contemplative expression embroidered on his face and a soft cashmere beak. Each of my owls has a vintage scout badge sewn onto its wing.
He is filled with a mixture of wool scraps and polyester fibre.
