** This is a Crochet Pattern and not the finished cat. **
Who has not read Alice's Adventures in Wonderland? Alice falls through a rabbit hole and finds herself in an enchanted fantasy world. In this world she meets peculiar creatures.
The Cheshire Cat is the cat of the Duchess. Alice meets it when she leaves the Duchess house, and finds it in a tree. It constantly grins and can disappear and reappear whenever it likes. Sometimes it disappears and leaves its grin behind.
In my shop are also patterns for Alice and the White Rabbit.
Crochet skill level: Intermediate (requires knowledge of basic crochet terms)
This pattern is available in English (using US crochet terms) and in German. It is 10 pages long with very detailed instructions and 25 images to help you with every step.
Size: The Cheshire Cat is 6.5 inches tall (16.5 cm). This excludes the ears.
For materials I used:
1. 3.00 mm hook
2. 4 ply yarn (white, light pink, purple and yellow)
3. Black embroidery floss
4. Polyester fiberfill
5. Tapestry needle
6. 10" (25 cm) Pipe cleaner or iron wire

I send the English pattern by default. For those who like the Geman translation: write a small note in the order form that you like to receive the German pattern.
