Full description
A piece of strip patchwork, enhanced with ribbons and embellished with hand embroidery has been used to create a beautiful yet practical cover for a pad of 'peel-off' type notes.
The patchwork has been lined with a coordinating striped fabric. Felt pockets allow the insertion of pieces of mount-board. One behind the front cover adds rigidity. A second, inside the back cover is only partially concealed within the felt pocket. The exposed portion of board allows the pad of notes to be attached by simply removing the backing paper and using the self-adhesive, tacky strip to hold the pad in place. In this way, replacement pads of notes can be inserted as necessary.
Ribbon lengths, wound in opposite directions around a vintage button, provide a closure.
Dimensions:
the cover accommodates a standard 125 x 75 mm note pad, and overhangs a little in all directions in order to protect the edges of the pad.
