Full description
I have made a number of simple bags with one handle/strap that is long enough to go across your body. I love designing bags but I also love designing appliques and I often get carried away with the process. So I thought if I make simple bags I can exercise my applique obsession without it all looking a bit over the top.
So here we have my lovely applique bag made in a white linen. I have used a combination of beautiful coloured fabrics to make my little bird friend and finished my design off with a heart trim. .(So this would make a lovely Valentine's Day gift).
My bag measures approx 23cms/9inches across X 23cms/9inches in length.
The strap measures approx 108cms/42.5inches in length.
It is lined in a beautiful floral cotton and fastens with velcro.
