This small notebook/ journal has been created using traditional bookbinding methods. I have left the spine exposed, as I think it a shame to hide this particularly attractive feature.

Rather than using traditional linen tape, I have used dark blue vintage bias binding. The book cover has been made out of beer mats and is covered with a red and white gingham cotton, once part of a much loved shirt, then secured with plaited linen thread and a shirt button. The end papers are made out of a recycled tissue paper decorated with tiny red hearts (perfect for Valentine's day).

The book contains: 100 pages,10 signatures, or 50 folios (folded pages), of the following recycled papers: brown, cream, lined and white.

Measurements: height 9 cm, width 9 cm and depth 2 cm.
