Full description
I have lovingly hand embroidered this super cute blue tit on to unbleached cotton, using a variety of threads including crewel wool. The cotton is then sewn onto banana fibre art paper and mounted in a simple pine frame. I have removed the glass from the frame as I feel the picture and stitchwork is best enjoyed without glass in the way!. I hope you can see the subtle paisley/damask pattern of the backing paper and the detail of the needlework in my photographs.
