Daffodils stitched in tapestry wool, against a background crocheted in mohair yarn and felted, form the design for this spring brooch.
A suitable gift for Mother's Day, Easter or a spring birthday. The background has been cut from a piece of felted hand crochet and the edges neatened by machine stitching. The daffodils and leaves have been stitched in tapestry and other wools using a variety of simple stitches. The back of the brooch is neatened with commercial felt slip-stitched in place. A brooch pin is securely stitched to the brooch.
