Set of 3 splendid spalted beech birds. They are about 3" wide, and will look very sweet hanging out in your house!

They are made from spalted beech - spalting is a fungal process that gives the interesting black lines and different colourations.

The beech is sourced from local tree surgoen, it has a lovely colour and a great smooth grain.

It is finished with a light coat of Danish oil.

The birds were made in my workshop in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire.
