My beautiful seasonal brooches are handmade from kiln-fused Bullseye Glass.
These brooches are made by pre-fusing glass stringer sheets and sheet glass that are then water-jet cut to create the internal leaf shape. I also carefully hand grind the surface and edges before it is given a final firing for fire polishing. The finished surface is a lovely soft and lustrous satin finish.
Each brooch goes through three kiln firings in total to form and finish the piece.
The striking design will get you noticed, yet is subtle enough to ideally compliment your seasonal wear! They also make an ideal gift for the holiday season.
This brooch is made with multi-coloured glass stringers over a white opaque and sits within a spring green glass surround. You are buying the brooch shown in the image and it has a nickel plated pin back.
