Original Vintage Artwork - Framed Pen and Ink - Snails and Tortoises - Size 10.25 x 10.5 inches approx
Called 'Snails & Tortoises' this 1970's original painitng was a lovely idea I planned for an animal project. It's hand drawn with good old fashioned bottled inks!
They're so much fun to use as you can get some real detail with them. Using fine line pen the outline was drawn first and then the inks were applied using tiny sable brushes. This is one of a kind.
This artwork is card framed and measures, in total, approx 10.25 x 10.75 inches. I've asked my framer to include a lovely 'v' cut detail in the card.
I suggest that this unique piece would look stunning in a child's room or a garden room. It would be perfect for a lover of all things to do with nature as it's so original and as it's from Scotland I doubt the recipient would receive such a unique and original keepsake.
All my artwork and designs are created here in my studio based in Scotland where it will be sent to you with love and commitment. I've also exhibited in London, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee and lecture in design and art. It's my passion!
