Full description

This is a beautiful chunky knit cowl / circular scarf. Its made in mixed chunky yarns in shades of red, pink and white. A moss stitch band holds the layers together and adds a touch of elegance. The scarf is patterned with irregular stripes that are based on the Fibbonachi sequence so might make an interesting present for mathematicians. There's a post on my blog that takes you through the design process too if you would like to know more http://bitsandbobscrafts.blogspot.com/2010/12/mathematically-patterned.html

There is also a sinuous cable and moss stitch pattern that gives the scarf an interesting curved outline. Its really warm and toasty, can't slip off - so perfect for cycling to work on cold mornings!
