Full description
A beautiful short scarf hand crocheted in a pale to mid blue yarn and edged in navy blue. There is a quirky off centre stripe of navy openwork crochet. The scarf is designed to cross at the neck and is secured with an unusual mother of pearl effect, octagonal button. The button hole is embellished with a hand crocheted rose, designed to resemble the stylised roses of the Art Deco Period.the scafr co-ordinates beautifully with the vintage gloves and hat.
I was inspired to make this scarf when researching the styles of the late 20's to late 30's. It is not a slavish copy but a modern interpretation of vintage chique. The scarf is approximately 1m long. it is made of double knit synthetic yarns and is very warm and toasty.
