A longing to recreate the elegance and delight of cravats and bow ties. I used fabrics that I myself would wear, thinking that if no-one bought them at least I could use them! This gingham holds the echoes of 1950s dancing in it, and gave me retro vibes instantly! It also reminded me of a full circle, rock and roll dress I owned when I was younger.
